A girl from Oklohoma City USA has recently sold a diamond she found at an Arkansas park known as Crater of Diamonds State Park, for $20,000.
The girl named Tana Clymer found the diamond while on a trip to the park with her family. The park is the only diamond producing state park in the USA that is actually open to the public.
The diamond is a yellow diamond in the shape of a teardrop and the size of a jelly bean. It weighed in at 3.85 carat.
“I thought it was a piece of paper or foil from a candy wrapper,” she said of the discovery. “Then, when I touched it, I thought it was a marble.” She adds that she believes God told her to slow down and take a look, which is when she realized it was a diamond.
